~600 Virginia households are surveyed using a method similar to the University of Michigan to develop three indexes of consumer sentiment and estimates for short- and long-term price expectations.  The releases are typically picked up by news organizations such as Yahoo Finance, Market Watch and several regional and local groups, such as WVTF.
